The name for this painting "Imrama" came to me spontaneously during painting. It means "a sacred journey" from ancient Celtic landuage.
Inspiration for this painting came to me during exploring and awakening my own inner goddess archetype, embodying my femininity, enjoying being fully in my body and expressing unapologetically the divinity in form that we all are.
There is sacred alchemy happaening once we tap into our bodies, into source of our magic and move with the wind, being moved by the energy waves of our consciousness. Feeling absolutely free and with no limitations.
Red canyon rocks and their organic shapes symbolise ancient wisdom, force and movement. Something that lives within all of us, but long forgotten.
Snake is a symbol of raising of the divine and feminine energy, transformation, transcendence.
